Foreign teachers presented awards to anti-pandemic warriors ‖CISS held pandemic prevention summary commendation

On June 24, CISS held pandemic prevention summary commendation conference to acknowledge the pandemic prevention warriors who have made outstanding contributions to the school during the past three years.

Foreign teachers took the stage to award the winning teams and also thanked them for their care and support for the foreign teachers in the past three years.

In her speech, Madam Yun A Duan , the executive Director, thanked and congratulated the winning teams and individuals on behalf of Dr. Francis Pang, the chairman of the board.Madam Duan said:There is an old saying in China: True heroes are only revealed in time of hardship. The days covered by the haze of the pandemic are filled with hardship, but just because of the hardship, we have seen the fearlessness and courage of CISS anti-pandemic warriors, your efforts and dedication will be recorded in the history of CISS! You are all heroes of CISS!The past is a prologue. In the days to come, there will still be more challenges waiting for us. Only by working hard can we achieve glory; this is our motto at CISS. I believe that as long as we all work together and move forward, nothing can stop CISS from moving forward. Let us continue to forge ahead and strive for a better tomorrow for CISS!

When the development of the pandemic was completely uncertain, all of them responded to the call of the school and voluntarily returned to the school, accompanied the foreign teachers and their families, and once again built an indestructible line of defense against the pandemic. In those days, we have overcome many inconveniences in life, elderly members of the family were sick, 2-year-old child at home, and so on, still they stayed in the school against all odds. In addition to the daily pandemic prevention work, we also undertook a lot of hard work. The staff of the logistics department did not rest for one single day, and they have been cleaning the environment on campus, the improvement and maintenance of the facilities of the academic building, and the IT department has kept the network on campus smooth, so that online courses of the school could be carried out in an unimpeded way.

The first award is hard work award. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the school has received a large number of government requirements and instructions on pandemic prevention every day. Staff in the admin department have always stuck to this post, day and night, bearing the grievances and injustice imposed by some individuals who did not offer understanding. Three years of hard work have been dedicated by them, so that the pandemic prevention work of CISS is not only satisfactory to teachers and parents, but also highly recognized by government departments.

At the end of 2022, the pandemic prevention policy was relaxed, and everyone was infected with Covid, and the support staff of the school was quite a limited number. In this critical moment, several colleagues bravely stuck to the school during the holiday. They worked with illness and stuck to every position such as security guard, cafeteria and cleaning team to ensure the normal operation of the school with foreign teachers on campus. If the risks faced by the team previously were latent, this time it was obvious. In the face of the virus, who does not have fear, who does not have senior family members or children to take care of?
