New Horizons of Honor, Future Forged through Creativity
On April 20th, Canadian International School of Shenyang (CISS) held the grand "2025 Graduation Ceremony and Education Exhibition". Bathed in the gentle spring sunshine, faculty, students, and families gathered to celebrate graduates embarking on life's new chapter while immersing themselves in an academic and artistic showcase meticulously prepared by the student body.

Before the event officially began, Madam Duan Yun'a, the Executive Director of CISS, led the faculty and staff team to warmly welcome the parents and students. At the signature wall set up for the 2025 Graduation Ceremony and Educational Achievement Exhibition, teachers, parents and students of CISS signed in in an orderly fashion, writing their names on the wall and taking photos as souvenirs, preserving this moment of great significance. Madam Duan Yun'a, the Executive Director of CISS, Ms. Josephine, the Vice Chairperson, and Mr. Gordon, the Principal, led all the teachers to write graduation messages for the graduates with great expectations. Every word and sentence was filled with earnest advice and sincere blessings for the graduates, hoping that they would carry the warm expectations of their alma mater and forge ahead bravely in their new life journey.

As the parent representative, Abu's mother offered poignant reflections on her child's educational journey, lauding CISS's preeminent status in delivering IB education across Northeast China. Her pragmatic advice for overseas-study families resonated strongly with attendees. Graduate Abu then articulated his scholarly evolution within CISS's pluralistic academic environment through a reflective presentation.

Amidst resounding applause, the emcee announced each graduate's name while their photographic journey unfolded on screen. This ceremonial recognition transformed individual growth narratives into collective pride, marking both a culmination of achievements and a prologue to future endeavors. Graduates' heartfelt speeches – blending nostalgia, gratitude, and aspiration – poignantly captured this transitional moment.

The Tassel Ceremony, solemnly conducted by DP Coordinator Marwa, ritually marked graduates' academic completion and identity transition. Executive Director Madam Duan Yun'a then presented auspicious floral bouquets, which graduates thoughtfully redistributed to cherished individuals, creating an emotional continuum of goodwill.

Principal Gordon and Vice Chairperson Josephine conferred trophies commemorating academic distinction, followed by a ceremonial cake-cutting led by Madam Duan Yun'a with faculty and parents – a symbolic gesture sweetening graduates' onward journey.
