On March 20, 2025, on such a sunny and breezy day, Ms. Margaret Cameron, the admissions director of Mount Allison University, a top undergraduate institution in New Brunswick, Canada, visited CISS for academic exchange. Madam Duan Yun'a, the executive director of CISS, and Mr. Gordon, the principal of CISS, along with all the teachers and students, warmly welcomed the distinguished guest. After her arrival, Ms. Cameron first toured the beautiful spring campus. She highly praised the school's teaching facilities, curriculum system, and the demeanor of the teachers and students: "CISS perfectly integrates the essence of the IB international curriculum and the education of New Brunswick, Canada. This dual-diploma training model is highly competitive in global university applications."

In the afternoon of the same day, Madam Duan Yun'a, the executive director of CISS, and Mr. Gordon, the principal of CISS, led all the MYP teachers and students to gather in the auditorium to listen to Ms. Cameron's wonderful speech. Ms. Cameron detailed the basic situation of Mount Allison University: the university has a beautiful environment, a convenient and safe location, many popular majors and a high employment rate, a reasonable student-to-teacher ratio, and provides students with high-quality educational resources and a good learning atmosphere (for more information, please visit the university's official website: https://mta.ca). It is particularly worth mentioning that the tuition fees are as follows: for Canadian students, the annual tuition fee (excluding accommodation and other miscellaneous fees) is 10,320 Canadian

dollars (approximately 52,000 RMB), while for international students, it is 20,810 Canadian dollars (approximately 105,000 RMB) per year. However, since CISS is a Canadian international school and its graduates hold globally recognized IB and NB dual diplomas, CISS graduates can enjoy the tuition fee standard for Canadian students for the first two years when applying to Mount Allison University. This advantage undoubtedly adds an important weight to the study abroad journey of CISS students.

The last part of Ms. Cameron's speech was an interactive Q&A session. CISS teachers and students raised their hands to ask questions, covering many aspects such as popular majors, future employment directions, the average class size, accommodation conditions, and language requirements for application. Ms. Cameron, with her rich experience and professional knowledge, patiently and thoroughly answered each question. Everyone had a lively discussion and exchange with Ms. Cameron on the spot. It seems that CISS students are full of curiosity and anticipation for their future university life. At the end of the event, Madam Duan Yun'a, the executive director of CISS, and Mr. Gordon, the principal of CISS, along with all the MYP teachers and students, took a group photo with Ms. Cameron to record this meaningful exchange activity.

The visit of Ms. Margaret Cameron, the admissions director of Mount Allison University, undoubtedly pointed out the direction for CISS students and added a significant stroke to their college application plans. CISS will continue to build more such exchange platforms for students, helping each student to steadily move forward on their dream-chasing path and enabling CISS students to step onto a broader international stage with more diverse ideas and firmer confidence!
